The goal was to transform a technical device into an intuitive, comfortable, and reliable tool. This process not only updates the internal technology but also optimizes human-machine interaction, offering a more intuitive and safe experience. The new design integrates a 360° magnetic joint which optimizes the sensor positioning, rotation system, and plug-and-play connection, allowing for smoother and more precise handling. Regarding its shape, the sensor was redesigned with smooth lines, rounded edges, and a compact body, facilitating quick cleaning between patients. The user interface has been redesigned with a more intuitive visual logic. A rotation system with angular markings is another notable advancement: it allows for precise adjustment and positioning of the sensor, thanks to visual indicators that show the available degrees and angles. This helps the dentist position the sensor accurately, improving image quality and reducing the need for retakes. The extension tool which the patient bites in order to keep the sensor in place, has a detachable and disposable piece which avoids the current problem of patients biting into the cable of the imaging device. This clever gadget also reduces the size of existing mechanisms on the market.
