Chula Querida is a Mexican Restaurant located in Polanco, one of the busiest neighborhoods in Mexico City.

Our goal was to create a visual identity that could reflect a fresh and approachable brand with a Mexican essence. We drew elements from vernacular typography, art and Mexican folklore, and gave them a modern twist to come up with a graphic system that could reflect a relaxed and joyful environment.

Handmade illustrations and typography-based graphics were used to enhance and depict the main products of the restaurant: Tacos & Cocktails.

The elements are versatile and can be used in every graphic application, from cup holders and napkins to wall art and decor items.

We also developed all the elements for the interior decoration of the space (coming soon).
