Our GUT is our second brain.

Having a healthy one is essential for our body to work properly. This system controls many of the body's functions. Starting from the immune system, mood, heart health, brain health, healthy sleep and effective digestion. Modern diets and industrialized food have weakened and washed down most of the microbiome and healthy bacteria we need.

Homemade fermented drinks have risen considerably in recent years based on this concern. These beverages contribute a large amount of healthy bacteria like probiotics, lactobacillus and many more. After doing some research we wanted to develop a system that can control the whole process.

I GUT YOU is a glass container where any type of drink can be stored. The lid has a device that monitors acidity (PH) and temperature. This sensor is placed diagonally strategically in order to measure even when there is little content.

The sensor is linked via Bluetooth with an app that monitors and lets the user know when the drink is at its best state. It also tracks its state as time passes by, in order to control when it might expire.

The user can have a library of the different recipes that have been made, share with friends, improve and tweak them, receive updates and new ideas, order ingredients from different stores, etc.
